This was my first delivery trip to Ukraine. 10 people delivered 6 vehicles and supplies to Ukraine. Amazing group of people and range of vehicles; 4x4s, SUVs and a van (donated by a tradesman in Hull).
We had perfect weather and no breakdowns enroute. Two things struck me:
- getting to meet a group of people with a common purpose – they genuinely made the trip a great experience
- the extraordinary volunteers across the UK (and European countries) who are tirelessly support this cause – enabling us to fill each vehicle with supplies
The outcome was an increased desire to keep supporting Ukraine.
